reflection on the lake house movie; this is gonna be long. =D
okay. overall, the movie is quite nice. highly recommended for ppl who like romance movies. but, the middle part is too long. not much of a climax until the ending. and the ending was super unpredictable. wanna know? go watch.
the plot of the story starts abt a lakehouse, for which it is so OBVIOUS, i know. yeah. some hidden messages inside the movie. like is it worth it to wait for a person that you wont meet forever or even telling you to give up? let's talk abt frens, instead of those BGR stuffs. the movie says it is worth it for love. LOVE. didnt say much abt friendship. haha. but think abt it, does the person first appreciate? if he or she doesnt, don waste your time. stop posting letters. give up on it.
likewise, when a person loses something, one will jus focus on the thing that one lost. from another point of view, we still got lots of 'better quality' stuffs around us. for example, i lost a great fren recently but, i found greater gifts from God. i realised that there are still true frens around you. i found my leader, i found dexter and wanzi who didnt give me up at all. even rongjie. maybe this is a time that God says, stop focusing on tt person anymore, spend more time on the others. i dunno. it is His will.
for we're not the characters in the lake house, we're in the reality. we'll nvr know the future. but fortunately, we know the past. the past should provide you with more life skills instead of pulling you from moving on.
conclusion, move on, go on with your decision, it will be fine.
i can do it because the Lord sustains me.
